Another tick on my bucket list!

For every darkness, God has set the light to shine afterwards.

A phrase that I can now give an ‘Amen’ to. And silver lining on its way also.

This November 2016, I was blessed with so many thing that I can put another tick on my bucket list.

EURO TRIP (TICKED)!

Yes, baby! I finally stepped my foot on this continent! AAAAAAKKKKK! So happy! :D Beyond happy! When the things you’ve been dreamed on for times finally come true! – Man! And while writing this, Diane Schuur’s Try A Little Tenderness is playing! Haha how lovely. –

So, since I’m an employee, I can’t just burst away for weeks to have a little heavenly trip for myself. Yeah, I have to input a leave permission. That’s the first thing. So, 14 days. That’s how many days I got to make sure I got to feel the winter cold weather and snowy nose! :p

I was there with two of my friends. There were just three of us, and no, we did not use any tour agent. We did it backpacker style! Yeah! Well, we brought suitcases of course, big ones too, since it was winter there and we need coats and warm clothes, and literally impossible for just carrying backpack there. But, hell, we did it ourselves! Yeah!  I put to many exclamation mark. I know, sorry. Nope, not sorry. I was super excited! Still am! Hahaha... So bear with me with the abuse of exclamation mark’s usage in this one posting.

Mendadak ke Pulau Pramuka

Tepatnya minggu lalu, saya sedang tidak punya rencana apa-apa menghabiskan weekend.

Agak bete juga sih. Sebelumnya, sudah ada rencana dengan beberapa teman kantor, tapi harus dibatalkan karena ada tugas datang yang manghalangi kelancaran rencana kami ini.

Jadi, saya berpikir,"ya udah, tar weekend jalan-jalan sendiri aja terus beli DVD serial, trus nonton sampe bosan" - yep, saya sangat doyan nonton serial. Nope, bukan serial Korea, jadi jangan tanya soal referensi serial Korea ke saya, yaa..

Kamis malam, saya lagi main instagram dan lihat beberapa posting dari teman-teman. Mendadak saya kangen nyebur. Ke laut. Alias Snorkeling atau super duper Short Free Dive (about 5-10 seconds only hahaha). Jadi saya kontaklah teman saya "Yan, ke Pulau Seribu yuk?" dan Dian pun setuju. Jadi deh doi cari-cari di inet, dan dimulailah our impulse-traveling for the weekend ke Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu XD

I was on my Christmas holiday, so I went back to my lovely home in Surabaya.
Me and my sisters decided to made sushi that one day. We believed we had all the ingredients and equipment needed. Just, how to made it?

Too bad, some of the ingredients weren't exactly how they supposed to be.. so.. our Sushi was delicious, but a bit weird.. hahaha..
the rice was a bit too mushy due to the difference of the rice's type. hahhaa..
We even put the rice in the freezer for few minutes, but still...

The Christmas Shoes

It's December already... Only around a week before Christmas!

Well, Christmas, since few years back for me is nothing more than just another celebration. Yeah, I know what does it meas, and on and on, but somehow.... I could tell.. It just becomes another national Holiday and hurray Nice family time!

On marketing group in my office, everyday we always play songs through one of our playlists. One day it could be my playlist, tomorrow could be another's. And for today, we decided to start playing the Christmas songs. And of course we set the Office's Christmas Tree. It was fun tho.

I love music, and I love to sing, so any song could really hit my mind and urge to sing as long as it suits me :) One time, just a few minutes ago before I wrote this post. I was getting ready to eat my snack and wandered around the marketing desk when my ear caught a nice lyrics from my friend's Christmas song's playlist. I wasn't familiar with the song, but the lyrics really caught a glimpse.

The story of the song was one kinda familiar touching story about a nice poor buy with all of his pureness heart wanted to buy something for his mom/dad who is dying, and somehow he didn't have much money even tho the money on his hand is worth long time saving. And someone there become his Santa Claus at that time. It is a song for a movie with the same title, The Christmas Shoes.

I, nowadays become very skeptical about almost everything. And I live my life like it should and as it flows on. But the song, the lyrics, and supported by beautiful melody made me realize again the meaning of Christmas. And of course to imply it in our daily life.

Kupang May 17th, 2012 to May 20th, 2012

Who doesn't like Long Weekend? For workers especially, long weekend is one of the most great time that worth waiting for. I wasn't that excited about it when i was still in school, or college. But since I am working now, long weekend is just like an Oasis in the dessert :p

2012, for we all already know, in Indonesia contains a lot of long weekend :D So, for this May 2012 long weekend, me and my boyfriend already plotted a trip plan to Kupang, NTT, Indonesia.

Kupang is a city in NTT, Indonesia. Why Kupang? Because it's his hometown, and my mom's hometown too. So, a nice choice of course. 

It was only me and my boyfriend who planned to Kupang. But my Mom jumped in afterwards because it's been 9 years since her last visit to Kupang. So be it, the three of us were going.

Christmas has Passed, New Year is Sneaking

Not like the other years, this Christmas seemed to be meaning-less. This 2011's Christmas became just another National Holiday. Which actually didn't feel like one because the Dec 25th fell right on SUNDAY. The day when we all having day off! With or without National Holiday.

This wasn't also my first Christmas since working. I've passed once. So don't know why the atmosphere of Christmas seemed just faded away.

Didn't like the other Christmas we've, okay I've been through before 2011. The previous Christmas were delightful. Lotsa fun, been deary waited since months before, and other expressions of joy and happiness on Christmas day.

But, like it or not, the Christmas day has passed almost a week ago. With not so many mark left inside this heart. And before we, or I even realize what is it, or how could it happened, the New Year's already sneaking on the edge. Waiting to be celebrated!

2007. I went to Uni on 2006. Had a BF few months later. And, Thanks God, we're still together till now (Feb 28th, 2011 )

Three of us were helping the graduation ceremony. It was a nice day on 2008. First time I attend the graduation ceremony. Amazing.and 2 yrs later was mine :D

Again, Trip to Jogja

perhaps I should talk to my daddy personally, and get to know why he loved to go to Jogja.. You know, it's been the third Eid Holiday we went to Jogjakarta! Oh-Wow...
When we did the other 2? At 2009 Eid, and 2008 Eid Holiday. Clear already?

Lagu "Bang Toyib" itu sepertinya bisa kugubah sedikit, lah..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA....

This time holiday wasn't so special. What else can I say.. 3 years aligned been there.. hahaaaa..But really, still have a really fun there :) This time, we went to Parangtritis (which didn't happen in other 2 holiday before :p ). And thx God, I got tanned!!! OH MY.....

We are all 7 together, my Dad, my Mom, me and two sisters, my Boyfriend, then my close friend, Boby. Thanks to Prangtritis again, so Boby lost his glasses! haha twas all his fault actually.. no one will ever suggest you to playing with big waves with the glasses on! Am I right? :)
Beside this South Beach, the other destinations were still the same, such as Borobudur temple, Prambanan Temple, Monumen Jogja Kembali, Kraton, and others.

 What I dislike from this time holiday was the rain! this rain always came on evening. And guess what, we missed all the nighty fun! :( too bad...

one night, we were planned to go to Malioboro, actually our last night there. For the weather on day was good, so we went to Malioboro at the evening. and VOILA.. rain dropped again... OH MY! because of that, the traffic jam suddenly along with us! see.. from the hotel to Malioboro (which is just 15 min trip) become 2 hours!! For just a parking lot...!! Imagine..
Night was already late, and we missed certain things we actually ran after that last night..
Fyuuhh..
after few hours there, we decided to drove back hotel. We stopped at a minimart and, yuhuuu a small earthquake said "hello".. well, that's new! haha..
Thx God the earthquake just about 15 seconds, and almost unfelt..

alright then, our last day was to visit Prambanan temple, the Hindu's Temple. I always amazed by these 2 temples (Borobudur and Prambanan). In my very own Opinion, These temples worth a lot more to become World Wonders than just an Eiffel! I mean it! I mean, take a look at their sizes, their ages, their years of made!! much more better!!!

Apa yang aku sukai. Apa pentingnya sih, bikin tulisan tentang ini? Untuk orang-orang yang kebetulan mampir aja sih, jelas sepertinya tulisan ini nanti "iih, ga penting banget deeh", "eeh emang situ ngartis?" dan kalimat-kalimat se-SPOK itu tadi. hihihii..
Ah, sudahlah, daripada meributkan apa komentar orang nantinya, lebih baik sekaran aku susun dulu nih biar cantik dan menyenangkan untuk dibaca.

What I Like(s):
-Nasi Goreng a lot! :) Pake sayur sedikit aja, ditambah mie dikit, plus, NO SAMBAL at all.
-Sate Ayam.. hehe enak.. apalagi yang agak garing and bumbunya pas. Coba deh kalo jalan-jalan ke Jogja,
                       di jalanan Malioboro itu kan ada banyak tuh ibu-iu penjual sate. Cobain deh. Asli mantap! :)
-Apel. Buah ini paling mantap deh menurutku. Praktis pula, tinggal cuci bersih, HAP! :)
-Nyamil. Siapa sih yang nggak suka nyemil? Boong aja gitu kalau bilang ga suka. hahaha.. ada pesona
                tersendiri lho kalo nyamil.
-Permen POLO. Saya nggak promosi, tapi beneran nih permen mint emang enaaak.. permen bolong, rasa
                           plong! (katanya ga promosi..huu)
-Pola Snack. Snack lawas keluaran Monde ini tak terkalahkan. hehehe. Agak susah lho, nyarinya di
                     Surabaya. Jadi kalo pas nemu aja, pasti ngeborong.

-Es Teh (and Lemon Tea). Sebenarnya aku doyan minum teh. Banget. Jadi, segala macam bentuknya
                                           deh. Selama cocok di lidah. Ehm.. belakangan ini doyan banget nyruput TongJi
                                            rasa Lemon :)
-Sinom. hahay.. biar kate minuman jejamuan juga kalo sinom sih segar gar gar gaar.. :) Apalagi kalo dingin
              dingin tuh nyeruputnya.
-Komik. Nggak usah ditanya kalau tentang ini deh. Komik dan rekan-rekan sejawatnya, mau kartun,
               karikatur, strip, grafis. Auwwh.... Skripsi barusan aja aku pakai karikatur! hehe.. Kalo bahasa
              gaulnya.."Komik, gueh bangeth githu loohh"
-AC. Milan. The most successful football club!! :) Syaa penggemar AC Milan semenjak Pippo pindah dari Bianconeri ke Rossoneri. Samapai sekarang saya menggilai klub ini!!
-Pena, Penghapus, Tipe-ex, Kertas. Why? Karena saya hobi mengambar. Dengan adanya empat items
            tersebut, saya bisa menggambar apapun deh. Apalagi kalo lagi nganggur jaya :)
-Cokelat. Saya suka banget sama cokelat dan yang berbau-bau rasa cokelat gitu. Roti-roti juga pilihannya
                 pasti rasa cokelat. Saya doyan Silver Queen. Toblerone? Ga enak, aah.. Lebih enak silverqueen.
                 hehe. Ndeso? Biariin..Weekk!
-Keju. Siapa coba yang ga mau ada keju dalam hidangannya? Eehh.. kecuali kalo lai makan soto, rawon,
           dkk gitu lho ya.. Keju ini juga salah satu rasa dan pelengkap yang aku sukai. TeOPe dah!
-Soft Drinks. Nggak sehat? Iya. Enak? Iya juga.
-Indomie Goreng. harus yang mereknya Indomie yaah.. Yang iklannya Indomiiiiieeee Selerakuuuuu.. :)
-Jessica Alba. Kok tiba-tiba muncul nama manusia?masa mau makanan terus?:p Fave actress ever :)

-"Eileen" name. I will actually use this name for my future daughter :)
- Filippo "Pippo" Inzaghi. I liked him since the 4th grade of Elementary school! The Fortune goddess might loved him too :)

posting kali ini hanya sekedar ingin memasukkan beberapa hasil jepretan spontan aku di jalanan.
ini ya, enaknya naik sepeda motor. begitu melihat yang 'unik' bisa langsung diabadikan lewat kamera (walaupun hanya kamera saku ^^). karena naik sepeda motor, jadi ruang terbukanya jelas lebih besar daripada yang berkendara dengan mobil.
gambar-gambar yang ada di sini hanya sekedar hasil jepretan dari sesuatu yang aku anggap menarik. jadi, tidak ada sentimen maupun tendensi pribadi apapun terhadap setiap hasil jepretanku ini. jadi, dinikmati secara santai saja ya... ^^
