Many of us are contaminated by the word "friendzone" Like we are now served with a phase of our life - well love life- that we can get away with by throwing the friendzone word.

But is it really true?

Or is it really works as it sounds?

For me, it should be easily translated into "he/she is just not that into you".

How come?

So, many of us might have been caught up in a heated and intense conversation with someone. for weeks, or even months. So much that we, like it or not, realize it or not, get attached by the routine. 

By the time being on texting basis, it seems all the feelings were reciprocated. Easy, because when you text, you have all the time in the texting standard time to arrange a proper answer/respond. It'll be so much different when the conversations or the on going relationship is done by doing face to face meet up, direct contact, or so.

This November 2016, I was blessed with so many thing that I can put another tick on my bucket list.

EURO TRIP (TICKED)!

Yes, baby! I finally stepped my foot on this continent! AAAAAAKKKKK! So happy! :D Beyond happy! When the things you’ve been dreamed on for times finally come true! – Man! And while writing this, Diane Schuur’s Try A Little Tenderness is playing! Haha how lovely. –

So, since I’m an employee, I can’t just burst away for weeks to have a little heavenly trip for myself. Yeah, I have to input a leave permission. That’s the first thing. So, 14 days. That’s how many days I got to make sure I got to feel the winter cold weather and snowy nose! :p

I was there with two of my friends. There were just three of us, and no, we did not use any tour agent. We did it backpacker style! Yeah! Well, we brought suitcases of course, big ones too, since it was winter there and we need coats and warm clothes, and literally impossible for just carrying backpack there. But, hell, we did it ourselves! Yeah!  I put to many exclamation mark. I know, sorry. Nope, not sorry. I was super excited! Still am! Hahaha... So bear with me with the abuse of exclamation mark’s usage in this one posting.

Mendadak ke Pulau Pramuka

Tepatnya minggu lalu, saya sedang tidak punya rencana apa-apa menghabiskan weekend.

Agak bete juga sih. Sebelumnya, sudah ada rencana dengan beberapa teman kantor, tapi harus dibatalkan karena ada tugas datang yang manghalangi kelancaran rencana kami ini.

Jadi, saya berpikir,"ya udah, tar weekend jalan-jalan sendiri aja terus beli DVD serial, trus nonton sampe bosan" - yep, saya sangat doyan nonton serial. Nope, bukan serial Korea, jadi jangan tanya soal referensi serial Korea ke saya, yaa..

Kamis malam, saya lagi main instagram dan lihat beberapa posting dari teman-teman. Mendadak saya kangen nyebur. Ke laut. Alias Snorkeling atau super duper Short Free Dive (about 5-10 seconds only hahaha). Jadi saya kontaklah teman saya "Yan, ke Pulau Seribu yuk?" dan Dian pun setuju. Jadi deh doi cari-cari di inet, dan dimulailah our impulse-traveling for the weekend ke Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu XD

sepenggal lirik dari The Doors ini mirip dengan peribahasa yang sudah lama malang melintang di jagad Indonesia ini; Tak kenal Maka Tak Sayang. Begitulah kurang lebih menurut saya. Begitu, bukan? :D

Adalah wajar kalau kita merasa aneh atau awkward dengan seorang stranger, atau orang yang baru kita temui. Ya sudah pastilah.. Lha namanya aja baru tahu tadi. Belum tentu juga tahu usianya. Mau tanya takut disangka ngga sopan. tapi kalau ngga tanya, nanti guyonannya ngga nyambung gimana, berabe kan? Mau becanda ala biasanya, takut nanti orangnya sayensitip jadi tersinggung. Atau jangan-jangan orangnya super lemot, jadi ngomong apa aja doi cuma plonga-plongo ngga ngerti kita lagi obrolin apa.

Haha..

Pikiran-pikiran seperti itu pasti bisa muncul saat kita pertama kali ketemu atau dikenalin ke orang baru.

Seiring berjalannya waktu tentu kita akan makin tahu dan mengenal seseorang. Entah nantinya kita akan kenal baiiiikkk banget atau ya sekedar tahu kalau orang ini agak sensi kalau ngomongin umur, atau tentang "kapan kewooonggg?" gitu.

It Takes Two to Tango

It takes two to tango. Sebuah frase yang sudah sangat terkenal. Entah benar atau tidak kita memaknainya.

Secara basic, makna idiom di atas adalah suatu kejadian atau situasi yang melibatkan dua pihak dan kedua belah pihak sama-sama bertanggungjawab atas kejadian/situasi tersebut. 

Intinya, tidak bisa hanya menyalahkan satu pihak saja. Walaupun memang, bobot kesalahan belum tentu sama besar. Karena sama seperti ungkapan lawas bilang, tiada asap tanpa ada api. Yang artinya ada sebab maka ada akibat. 

Mungkin ngga sih sesuatu terjadi (akibat) tanpa ada pemicunya (sebab)? Ngga tahu. Belum bisa ngomong sih saya. Belum ranahnya. Mungkin bisa, mungkin juga tidak. Misteri ilahi. Hehehe

Dalam keseharian, kita selalu dihadapkan dengan pilihan. Dari kita ngga sengaja kebangun dengar alarm berdering kencang dari smartphone kita. Itu saja kita sudah dihadapkan dengan pilihan yang pelik... Turn off atau snooze. Ambillah kita pilih turn off. Apa lantas kita langsung bangun? Eitss belum tentu. Setelah kita turn off, ada beberapa pilihan lagi, seperti langsung bangun dan menyadarkan diri kembali ke realita, atau meyakinkan diri sendiri kalau kita mampu kok tidur 5 menit lagi dan terbangun dengan sendirinya 5 menit lagi. Atau kita turn off lalu ambil smartphone kita dan mulai ceki ceki semua sosmed yang terlupakan selama kita menikmati bunga tidur kita? Nah.. Berat kan? Jangan dikira keputusan berat itu hanya terjadi saat mau pilih investasi ratusan juta... Turn off dan snooze aja sudah beraatttt.

Break Up

Break Up.

It's something that somehow (almost) everybody would experienced. Either once, twice, three times, or more. Either having it with different person, or going on and off with the same person.

I, myself just experienced it. This wasn't my first break up, but with the same person on and off. But this time, I guess this was really the final straw.

I once read that people can actually die because of broken heart. Really? I have to quote you one of fine line from one of my fave TV series, Perception:

Saat ini saya sedang (lagi) menggilai serial Sherlock. I know i'm a bit late.

Sebagai penggila detective (komik, kartun, anime, novel, serial, dll), tentunya serial ini ngga boleh terlewatkan. Seharusnya. Namun apa mau dikata kalau saya disibukkan dengan serial penunjang detektif lainnya. Huehhee..

Watch Out for Your Statement

Ada pelajaran menarik untuk saya dari kegiatan saya kemarin malam di depan TV.

Jadi, kemarin (18 November 2014) saya nonton Indonesia Lawak Klub (ILK). Seperti Biasa, topiknya aktual, tentang kenaikan BBM. Pembahasannya pun demikian, sarat humor, ringan, dan menarik. Ada pro-kontra seperti episode-episode sebelumnya.

Yang menarik adalah saat Ronal Surapraja mulai mengurarakan pendapatnya.

Dia berada di posisi pro. Apa yang dia utarakan pada awalnya masih biasa-biasa saja. Sampai pada saat dia berkata seperti ini (kurang-lebihnya)

"...kalau perusahaan yang bangkrut, yang rugi ya kan cuma ownernya dan pegawai-pegawainya yang diberhentikan. Tapi coba pikir kalau negara yang bangkrut? .... Mulailah berpikir sebagai bangsa..."

Jungkir Balik Dunia Kita

Hari ini, agak sore gitu, ada kejutan kecil. Ada yang kehilangan komputer jinjing. Dua orang sekaligus.

Ceritanya, mereka meeting di salah satu mall. Mereka parkir mobilnya di basement, dan taruh tas berisi komputer jinjing mereka itu di dalam mobil. Singkat cerita, saat mau balik, lubang kunci mobil sudah rusak. Dan dua buah tas mereka raib.

Lokasinya keren, di Chakra, The Breeze, BSD. 

Open House ini lebih ke arah sharing dan tanya-jawab mengenai apapun. Hari itu, beliau share mengenai investasi. Investasinya berupa saham dan properti.

Life Learned

Some people are blessed with easy path in their life. Might be in almost every aspect of his life. In love, career, friendship, or else. On the other hand, some people are blessed with mazed path in their life. And the maze might also occur in almost every aspect of their life. Complicated love story, complocated friendship moments, and et cetera.

Training Phase 2 in Jakarta

Been so long since my last post.
Right now, I am on my training phase 2 time. Oh, btw, since i am in the middle of my step 2 training, it means that I finished and passed my 1st phase training :)

I do hope I can do great and nailed this 2nd phase training :)

Note: My 1st training placed on Lampung. now, I placed on Jakarta :) And, Rama got a job in Jakarta too. Lovely.

When The Going is Easy, You May Headed Downhill

The title above I chose exactly to express what I've been through the past 3 months (and going).

Like I've told you before, I am having a training in my new job place.

Here, I have to push hard and harder to what I actually have and carry as my potential. Or else, I will fail.

It's precisely not as easy as a single click to do for me. I really have to learn a lot, and have a great determination. Plus, it's really a brand new thing for me.

I almost gave up on my 1st month. And, again I almost don't give a f*ck after my 2nd month on my 1st trial presentation at Area's office. But hey, no diamonds are made without hard tempt!

Big thanks to all mentors, that on my 2nd trial presentation, I have a lot of lights to complete my presentation.

There I always remind myself, that I've made such effort to held this position. And I only 3 steps away to make it permanent (3 phases of training).

Less than 2 weeks, I am going to have my 1st phase presentation. there I'll present all that I've learnt and improved during the 1st 3 months training. I run as fast as I could to chase what I got left behind, and prepare my presentation as GREAT as I can :)

It's me, btw! I never wan to accept any 'fail' word!!

And one sticky note from thingsweforgetblog really had my mind; When The Going Is Easy, You May Headed Downhill. If we want to reach the peak, we have to climb up, with every strength we have, and with every tools we have.

So, here I am, in the middle of my presentation preparation, in the area office, again gain all my spirit and will for next Monday's trial presentation! HUH-HAH!

The Christmas Shoes

It's December already... Only around a week before Christmas!

Well, Christmas, since few years back for me is nothing more than just another celebration. Yeah, I know what does it meas, and on and on, but somehow.... I could tell.. It just becomes another national Holiday and hurray Nice family time!

On marketing group in my office, everyday we always play songs through one of our playlists. One day it could be my playlist, tomorrow could be another's. And for today, we decided to start playing the Christmas songs. And of course we set the Office's Christmas Tree. It was fun tho.

I love music, and I love to sing, so any song could really hit my mind and urge to sing as long as it suits me :) One time, just a few minutes ago before I wrote this post. I was getting ready to eat my snack and wandered around the marketing desk when my ear caught a nice lyrics from my friend's Christmas song's playlist. I wasn't familiar with the song, but the lyrics really caught a glimpse.

The story of the song was one kinda familiar touching story about a nice poor buy with all of his pureness heart wanted to buy something for his mom/dad who is dying, and somehow he didn't have much money even tho the money on his hand is worth long time saving. And someone there become his Santa Claus at that time. It is a song for a movie with the same title, The Christmas Shoes.

I, nowadays become very skeptical about almost everything. And I live my life like it should and as it flows on. But the song, the lyrics, and supported by beautiful melody made me realize again the meaning of Christmas. And of course to imply it in our daily life.
