Mendadak ke Pulau Pramuka

Tepatnya minggu lalu, saya sedang tidak punya rencana apa-apa menghabiskan weekend.

Agak bete juga sih. Sebelumnya, sudah ada rencana dengan beberapa teman kantor, tapi harus dibatalkan karena ada tugas datang yang manghalangi kelancaran rencana kami ini.

Jadi, saya berpikir,"ya udah, tar weekend jalan-jalan sendiri aja terus beli DVD serial, trus nonton sampe bosan" - yep, saya sangat doyan nonton serial. Nope, bukan serial Korea, jadi jangan tanya soal referensi serial Korea ke saya, yaa..

Kamis malam, saya lagi main instagram dan lihat beberapa posting dari teman-teman. Mendadak saya kangen nyebur. Ke laut. Alias Snorkeling atau super duper Short Free Dive (about 5-10 seconds only hahaha). Jadi saya kontaklah teman saya "Yan, ke Pulau Seribu yuk?" dan Dian pun setuju. Jadi deh doi cari-cari di inet, dan dimulailah our impulse-traveling for the weekend ke Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu XD

The Christmas Shoes

It's December already... Only around a week before Christmas!

Well, Christmas, since few years back for me is nothing more than just another celebration. Yeah, I know what does it meas, and on and on, but somehow.... I could tell.. It just becomes another national Holiday and hurray Nice family time!

On marketing group in my office, everyday we always play songs through one of our playlists. One day it could be my playlist, tomorrow could be another's. And for today, we decided to start playing the Christmas songs. And of course we set the Office's Christmas Tree. It was fun tho.

I love music, and I love to sing, so any song could really hit my mind and urge to sing as long as it suits me :) One time, just a few minutes ago before I wrote this post. I was getting ready to eat my snack and wandered around the marketing desk when my ear caught a nice lyrics from my friend's Christmas song's playlist. I wasn't familiar with the song, but the lyrics really caught a glimpse.

The story of the song was one kinda familiar touching story about a nice poor buy with all of his pureness heart wanted to buy something for his mom/dad who is dying, and somehow he didn't have much money even tho the money on his hand is worth long time saving. And someone there become his Santa Claus at that time. It is a song for a movie with the same title, The Christmas Shoes.

I, nowadays become very skeptical about almost everything. And I live my life like it should and as it flows on. But the song, the lyrics, and supported by beautiful melody made me realize again the meaning of Christmas. And of course to imply it in our daily life.

Meet an Old Friend

Jadi ceritanya hari Jumat lalu saya ada kumpul-kumpul Theater. HOME Theater namanya :)
Kami kumpul untuk membahas beberapa naskah untuk event yang sudah menanti.
Nah, rupanya saya datang paling pertama, padahal hari Rabunya saya sudah bilang kalau saya bakalan rada telat. Huehehe.

Akhirnya, karena anak-anak pada belum datang, jadilah saya keliling-keliling Grand City. Oh iya, saya lupa bilang kalau janjiannya di Grand City :p
Terus, karena saya straight from office ke GC, jadi saya kudu menuntaskan salah satu panggilan alam :p I need to take a pee. Haha..

So, saya pergi ke toilet terdekat. Selesai menunaikan tugas, saya tentunya mematut-matut diri dulu di depan cermin toilet. Nggak sengaja saya ngelirik ke cewek di sebelah kanan saya yang juga sedang bercermin. Daaaann.. tak dinyanaaa.. rupanya cewek itu adalah salah satu teman dekat saya semasa SMA!! Horeee!!! Mary namanya. Tapi panggilan sayangnya "mak" hehe.

Mak ini cao ke Aussie waktu kuliah. Nah, di sela-sela libur kuliahnya dulu kami sering banget kumpul rame-rame, tapi waktu selesai kuliah dan dia stay and kerja di Surabaya, malah kami belum ketemu sama sekali. Bisa dibilang, terakhir kami ketemu dan jalan bareng itu tahun 2010! Woohoo! 2 years not seeing each other! Haha...

Oke, back to story. Waktu saya memastikan kalau itu emang Marry "mak" yang saya kenal , langsung saya panggil dia "Maak.." sekali dia nggak dengar, saya panggil dengan suara lebih keras "Maaakk!!" dan langsung doi noleh daaann... dimulailah seseuran cewek yang baru ketemu! huehehehee..

Bukan tanpa sebab apa-apa, tapi memang Papa lagi pasang CD lagu-lagu romansa oldies. :). Oldies adalah salah satu pilihan lagu-lagu favoritku. Sampai-sampai teman-temanku juga kalau soal tembang lawas, langsung deh terpikirkan namaku. Haha. Serius lho.

My Bestfriend's Wedding (#1)

Why do I put #1 in my post title? Because, I have 4 best friends. And this post will only talking about one of them.

So, it started on Tristiana's birthday on March 2012. She announced that her wedding day will be on June 17th, 2012 and we will be her bridesmaid. Such an honor! :)

We started to discussed about our bridesmaid dress, make ups, etc.

For short, we arrived at June 16th 2012. H-1 of the wedding day.

There is a tradition in Javanese called 'Widodaren.' It's a tradition where the groom's family came in to the bride's family bring stuffs as their gift. but, both bride and groom must not see each other at all. That's another tradition call 'Pingitan.' Single people from bride's side have to be prepared to accept the gifts from groom's family and put them in the bride's room. The bride's already waiting in the room, but she can only meet the groom's family. After that, we have a small introduction session, and dinner.

Finished with the Widodaren at 9 PM, me and Icha went to Kayoon to took the bridesmaid flowers for hand bouquet. Then, we went straight to Arlita's house, who had just arrived at Surabaya about an hour ago. She took a night plane to Surabaya from Jakarta. She was having a job there. Then, we drove back to Tristiana's house and picked her and her mom up to the guest house.

Tristi rent the whole room in the guest house for her and her fiancee family and guests. Also, for their Wedding meet's room. 

There is also a tradition called 'Temu Manten' where the bride and the groom finally meet each other after a week of Pingitan. Tristi also set up the 'Temu manten" room in one of the guest house's rooms. The guest house was nice :)

At night, Prissia came also.The four of us stayed there for a night. We prepared the hand bouquets ourselves, and as we were totally starved, we also ordered McD on the midnight! Hahaa.. What a diet! :D

So, we finished the hand bouquets on around 2.00 AM, then we ate the McD, we were super starved! And took a fast sleep on 3.00 AM. On 3.50AM we had to woke up already, because on 4AM the make-up and hair dresser already arrived.

We took a bath one by one. Prissia went first, because she slept first! Haha.. Followed by Icha, Me, then Arlita.

The make ups and Hair do were awesome. Simple but nice :)

Then on 8.00 AM, we, the bridesmaid took a photo and video of morning express. Tristiana was sooooooo beautiful! She was so gorgeous and looked totally happy! I could suddenly felt her happiness too, you know. After that, the 'Temu Manten' session began. Before the groom could met the bride, he and his bestmen had to pass through us, the bridesmaid. And we could do any fun of it :p

So we asked him to made a short funny poem (Pantun, in Indonesian). Then, he had to danced while the bestmen sang "Iwak Peyek" and danced along. Hahahahaa.. He did that you know! Leo did all those things :D Then Arlita escorted him to entered Tristi's room.

After The Wedding Ceremony

After that on 10.00 AM we got prepared to the church. The Wedding ceremony was about to begun. Then just like as we saw in the movies, the groom entered down the aisle first, then the bride. It was touching :). a short ceremony, and here came the most touching part. The part after the bride and the groom officially tied up as a husband and wife, and they took a kneel in front of their parents. The four of us were touched! Our tears already on their way down from our eyes.... :) Then they both signed all the papers, and walked out of the church.

At the church's front yard, we had the Two Doves and Some Balloons' released to the air. On the 1, 2, 3 count, we released the balloons, while the newly wed released the doves, they kissed each other. So.. Sweet! :)

We could have 3 hours break after the wedding ceremony before the wedding reception. It was a very precious time for us. So we took a short qualified sleep :p. On 3.00 PM we got prepared again for the reception. But we had to gathered on the reception place first on 4PM for a rehearsal. 

The rehearsal was a bit delayed because of some traffic jam, etc. Ah, I forgot to said that Tristi's reception  was a pool-side one :) Nice, right!

On 6.30 P, the Wedding reception began!!! After the MC announce the beginning of this reception, the bridesmaids and the bestmen went out coupled. Then the groom's parents, followed by the bride's parents.Then, with the taccompaniment of the song A thousand years, the bride and groom walked down the road and reached their beautiful stage. :)

Well, the rest was not much different with another wedding party. But this time was a bit different because we, as Tristi's bestfriends took our direct part on her super special day! :) However, the fireworks on their Wedding Kiss were also awesome! :D

Happy Wedding for Leo and Tristi! Happily ever after! When troubles ever come in to your new life,  always remember this June 17th, 2012 when you both tied up your holy promise as husband and wife and soon to be beautiful parents! :)

My Online Shop

Just crossed my mind one day to have another income. My dream is to have my own work. Whether it's restaurant or shop or whatever. Looking at my too much clothes and shoes, I decided to sell them with special price. You know, the secondhand things.
Then I made a blog on February 2012. It was first only for my used wardrobe or my new-but never been used wardrobe's shop-window. Then I found out that on Blog, this selling thing didn't affect too much.

Wonderful Day with My Car

Whatta Life Whatta Life Whatta Life!  Somehow I kinda love using that phrase.

Well, talking about LIFE, on April 8th, 2012 (last Friday), I experienced one of wonderful time in my life. I had to call it wonderful you know. I'll tell you why I had to call it wonderful.

So it was Friday, and almost everybody in my office was out. Some was went home earlier, some went out earlier for meeting purpose. Whatever. On 4.15 PM, I felt like I wanted to went home earlier. Besides, all the work were already done. First floor, where I worked already empty (Seriously. Everybody on first floor already left earlier), so on 4.30 PM I decided to got off.

24 Years Old Already

Been 24 years of miracle already. For this premature born girl who about to died at her very first baby cry.

Lousy opening? Nope. This was real. I was born as a premature baby girl. 8 months only. With height not longer than a 30 centimeters ruler. I was only ca. 20 cms. And as it's not sad enough, I was very weak and couldn't consumed any supply of nutrition after birth. My mom couldn't breast-feed me because I always threw up every time  i got breast-feed. And so does another liquid or food. So, the doctor decided to had an injection of infuse which contained nutrition, food, etc for me.

Done? Nope. As already mentioned before that I was very weak, my skin tone was too much pale, and I was too small. My dad even often compared me like this "just the same height like a bottle of instant ketchup" OMG.. 

So, not just infuse, but also i had to slept in the incubator for weeks. The whole family keep praying. Because, there's a possibility I would passed away for the inability of food supply.

I was the first child in my family by the way.

And, yes, My mom was actually a bit stressed down while she was pregnant. -- This is a warning Ladies and gentlemen! Never stressed any pregnant woman! The stress a mother carry, will impact the baby directly!

And, for short, for the effort of whole family, and big mercy of God, here I am still breathing the air on my 24th Birthday! :)

I am having a loving family, Bunch of friends around me, a loving boyfriend, graduated with awesome GP, my Job.. Well, you'll never know what would life bring you. Just like Forrest Gump said; life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.

P.E.M.T.A

Complete PEMTA in 2006 ;p

What does that acronym stands for? No, it's not something super for the world, or some kind of new world organization. It's simply our little comfort lovely world.

P.E.M.T.A 

simply just the every first letter of the name from five of us.

We were really gathered together in Senior High School. Three of us already friends since Kindergarten :)

The P, the E, and the M. We were went to the same school since Kindergarten and Elementary school. Also we went to the same Sunday school. And for the sake of little children friendship boats, we and other friends love to bike around the neighborhood, and used the bike to reached the school.

Me (the E)and my friend the P joined the same exercise, volley ball, where M joined basket ball.

Then come the Elementary graduation on MILLENNIUM (the Y2K). Three of us separated. Oh, actually we also made friends with other lot children. But, this is now the story about five of us, right :)

Me and M went to the same Junior High School, while P to another's. 

There we met our new friend, T. Those days were super awesome! a lot of turning back happened on Junior High School.

The last year of Junior High School, Me, and T became closer and met A. We always spent time together afterwards. M? She also made friends, but still she gathered with Me, T, and A.

How about P? Because she went to another school, our connection is limited. But we still had time together (me, M and P) on church every Sunday.

Senior High School

is when we began! Then met the five of us because P was moved to our school. But, unfortunately, T must moved to another island, due to family matter. Then four of us become closer and closer. Of course we still made friends with others. 

Right on my 16th birthday, T went back to town and moved back in to our school!! Yiihaaa!! Such a present for me :)

So, here we are always together.

I found out they are my best friend ever. Tho perhaps one to another get closer, it doesn't matter.

What I proud most from our PEMTA is, when there are bad tings or unsuitable things to be told, we talk about it. In a proper time of course. But we not doing those hollaback things! I do love this kinda friendship.

The college time is when we were truly separated. P was moved to Jakarta, A to other campus, T was in the same campus with me and M, but in different building and department of course. Me and M? Surprisingly we both back together in the same department :)

But, always we spare some times when P was visiting us here. :)

San Minor. First Time Been There

 Last night, on Sunday February 20th, 2011. There were no special plan. It was just our family time together. gathered and drove around the city, stopped by at one mall for some relaxing and eating.
Then, I remembered there will be a Milan match tonight. Which is actually not shown in our National Television and so pity also not shown in Telkomvision. Geeeee...

Then, me and my boyfriend decided to went to a place that will show it. Of course via streaming. i already knew about San Minor, Minoritas. A cafe for Milanisti in Sezione Surabaya. We drove that night and stopped by. It was just 7 PM, so of course still quiet there. Because I never been there before, then we decided to moved to REDs Center. It is a Liverpudlian Cafe. But, they also turn the TVs for another matches. We were hoping Milan was shown there.

Bad News! They didn't go for Chievo-Milan that night. Oh My! Because of that match only available via streaming, they couldn't made it, and they decided to go on another match like Genoa-AS Roma which ended with super dramatic play! Genoa was left 0-3 by Roma, and then suddenly they reverse it to 4-3!!! Mensch!!
The 4th scorer from Genoa was Ex-Milan, Albertino Paloschi :) Suddenly reminded me of Istanbul 2005! OOooohhh!!!!!

Okay, back to Milan. So,i made my self to text the San Minor person number. Then yeah, they answered me that they will streamed Chievo-Milan. so, we drove quickly there.
There was a nice atmosphere I got, even though people there perhaps questioned of  "whois this new girl using Milan Away Jersey" :)
So, I sat there and waited for the streaming. You, know, when we're talking about streaming, we should pray for the best always! and yeah, the streaming wasn't that good. Even we couldn't watched Robinho goal! Too bad.. It was me, reading the twitter timeline and shouted "Goal!! Robinho" and suddenly, the people there looked at me and cheering!! :) And the chant is surrounding the room!!! Milaaaan Miiilaaann!! :)))))

Well, I'm not gonna have a story about last night Celebratory match for Silvio berlusconi. I wanna share about my first time watching the match together with all Milanisti Sezione Surabaya at San Minor!

Established in a very unique way on September 4th, 2010, HOME Theater keep getting closer and better.

We are bunch of people who definitely born for Theater!

actually, we were first member of Broomstick Theater, which is one of Student activities in our beloved campus, Petra Christian University. There, our relationship as friends, partners, and another family was built. A lot of ups and downs were happened there. We performed a lot, and held shows a lot. 

Now, after we're graduated, we reunion and decided to make a next step of this Broomstick Theater. Then, a few of us, who already graduated from university held a small cozy meeting. After too much joking and stories telling about our lives each, then we decided to make one community. This one is profitable community. We are doing business. Yes, we're still brand new in this business, but we believe we'll not lost. Then, so, come the idea to name this friendly community after HOME Theater. No other reason, but we're family, and HOME is where we gather, have full comfortable, feel save, and place where we belong!

We had made up our first performance as HOME Theater family. In Mercure Grand Mirama Hotel. We're playing the role of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. It was so awesome that the people who watched us there gave us such a glorious responses! Even, we can't even stop smiling and acting because the guests asked to have photos together with us.

Now and, we're in progress to another performance.
